The Classes of the Imperial Order of the Görlitz Eagle

Supreme Class: Knight/Dame of the Grand Cordon (K.G.C.E. / D.G.C.E.)

The highest honor of the Order, reserved for the Sovereign, Heads of State, and individuals of the highest distinction. It is distinguished by a broad sash (Grand Cordon) and a large, elaborate breast star.

Class I: Knight/Dame Grand Cross (K.G.E. / D.G.E.)

This high-ranking class is awarded for exceptional service. It is worn with the same Grand Cordon sash as the supreme class but is accompanied by a standard-sized breast star.

Class II: Knight/Dame Commander (K.C.E. / D.C.E.)

Awarded for conspicuous service, this rank is distinguished by a neck badge worn on a ribbon, accompanied by the standard breast star worn on the left chest.

Class III: Commander (C.E.)

A mid-level honor for significant service. Commanders wear the neck badge on a ribbon, but without the accompanying breast star.
