Civil Rights Advocacy

Our House remains steadfast in its mission to honor the past while architecting a more equitable future. Through strategic partnerships and sustained advocacy, we support the institutions that safeguard the narrative of the African Diaspora and champion the civil liberties of all global citizens.

Preserving the Legacy: Cultural Institutions

We believe that history is a living document. By supporting these institutions, the Imperial House ensures that the triumphs and tribulations of the Black experience are preserved for generations to come.

  • The National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC)

As a cornerstone of our cultural outreach, we support the NMAAHC’s mission to tell the American story through the lens of African American life, history, and culture. Our involvement focuses on preserving oral histories and expanding digital archives to make heritage accessible globally.

  • The National Civil Rights Museum

Located at the historic Lorraine Motel, this institution serves as a powerful reminder of the struggle for human rights. The Imperial House facilitates educational symposiums and youth leadership initiatives centered on the museum’s core exhibits, bridging the gap between the 1960s Civil Rights Movement and modern-day activism.

Championing Equity: Advocacy & Advancement

Beyond preservation, our outreach extends to the front lines of social and economic justice. We partner with the world’s most venerable advocacy organizations to dismantle systemic barriers.

  • The NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People):

The Imperial House recognizes the NAACP as the premier legal and social advocate for civil rights. Our collaboration focuses on: Supporting policy changes that ensure political, educational, and economic equality. Contributing to the protection of voting rights and the eradication of racial discrimination within the judicial system.

  • The National Urban League:

Our work with the National Urban League is rooted in the "Movement toward Equality." We focus our sovereign efforts on their economic pillars: Funding programs that provide underserved communities with the skills needed for the 21st-century economy. Supporting initiatives that increase homeownership and financial literacy in urban hubs.

A Global Mandate

"Service is the highest form of sovereignty. To lead is to listen to the echoes of history and respond with the decisive action of the present."

The Sovereign Mandate

The Imperial House does not merely observe history; we actively participate in its correction and continuation. Through these four pillars of outreach, we honor our ancestors and empower our descendants.
